CTN Spotlight on... Noah!
CTNX: Hello Noah, it's a pleasure to speak with you! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
NF: Hi, my name is Noah Fontana and I was born in NY and raised in NJ.
CTNX: When and how did your relationship with CTN begin?
NF: When I moved out to CA a few years ago for an internship with Mike Blum at Pipsqueak Films, he suggested I go to the CSG to join their sketchnights. One thing lead to another and here we are.
CTNX: What have your positions been with CTNX and what have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
NF: I started as an attendee (Blum gave me an extra ticket since he was speaking at CTNX2015), and soon after I started volunteering my time to help out at the Gallery during their monthly events. I had done that for some time, building up to getting paid to run errands and assist more regularly, that eventually I joined the team officially as a full time employee with the title "Social Media Coordinator." I've learned how to work with MANY different people in a lot of different situations, and in that learned how to be flexible and ingenuitive when problems arise.
CTNX: What are your ultimate career goals?
NF: I would love to help as many people as I can become psychologically healthier using art as the main tool.
CTNX: How does working with CTN help you meet those goals?
NF: I'm learning how to be a better public speaker and communicate well with others along with learning what really goes into doing something on such a large scale.
CTNX: What have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
NF: Teamwork and leadership.
CTNX: What do you look forward to most in the coming years regarding your career?
NF: I'm really excited to see how I use the tools and skills I'm learning to further my personal goals as well as goals for being at CTN and it's eXpo. There are a lot of new things coming and in the works and I'm thrilled to get to a place with those new things where we can feel comfortable doing them enough that we can enjoy being really creative with them.
CTNX: It was a pleasure to talk with you Noah!
